AARP Medicare Complete Plans

In 2011, AARP offers its MedicareComplete plans to eligible Medicare beneficiaries who live in Cochise, Graham, Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz and Yavapai counties.

Cochise, Graham, Pima, Pinal (85739) and Santa Cruz Counties

In Cochise, Graham, Pima, Pinal (85739 ZIP only) and Santa Cruz counties, AARP offers its MedicareComplete Plus (HMO-POS) plan through United Healthcare of Arizona. This plan costs $0 above your Medicare Part B premium, however some beneficiaries may pay higher Medicare Part B premiums if their annual household income exceeds $85,000 for single beneficiaries or $170,000 for married couples.

This plan provides services generally covered by Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B, and includes (with some restrictions):

• In-network doctor and hospital choice
• Coverage throughout the US when traveling
• Unlimited inpatient hospitalization for Medicare-covered hospitalizations
• 190-day Inpatient Mental Health Care
• Skilled Nursing Facility care
• Network doctor’s office visits, ($15 copay)
• Network urgent care visits, ($30 copay)
• Network specialist care visits, ($40 copay)
• Emergency room visits ($50 copay)
• Drugs covered under Medicare Part B (20% of cost)
• Formulary drugs covered under Medicare Part D
• Four-tier pharmacy copays for generic prescription drugs
• Vision coverage
• Preventive care services
• Point-of-Service options for out-of-network providers

Optional supplemental packages may also provide comprehensive or preventive dental care for an additional monthly premium.
